Saint Rose of Lima in Gamu, Isabela, Philippines

Saint Rose of Lima Parish is located right in the heart of Gamu, Isabela fronting the town’s Municipal Hall. The Church occupies almost one and a half hectare of fenced lot with three main structures, i.e., the church, the annex building and an open space auditorium.  It has a manicured garden in front of the church, a bell tower and a spacious Adoration Chapel.

Its Spanish style architectural designed edifice made of bricks is ideal for mass celebration, weddings, baptism and a respite for those who wanted to pray, meditate and reflect solemnly because of the town’s serenity.  One can hear the birds twitting, the wind whistling and the silence that surrounds the town, especially in the afternoon.  Its manicured garden sooths the eye and its spacious and beautifully architecture Adoration Chapel is an ideal place for meditation.

The parish is just about 15-minute drive away from the Shrine of Our Lady of Visitation along Maharlika Road in Guibang going north.  One has to turn left from Upi junction going Roxas and another left turn after crossing Gamu Bridge.   The parish has 16 Barangays under its jurisdiction.
